Once a character goes Full Chibi, they may experience struggles returning to a regular humanoid form, and retain a slightly larger head and eyes than would usually make sense for their body.
… i just came back from iceland and was still willing to suspend the disbelief of, yknow, LAVA HOT even after experiencing (artificially reheated) actual lava from up close (IS SO H O T) but the angles of this holes are actually making my skin hurt just from looking at them D:

In the meantime, we’re probably going to get a cut to Rakhn’s incarnation having at it with our favourite coincidentally-named former incarnation of Vash. The THOOM at the end of -29 tells me that we’re probably going to see some slight terrain modifications. Excited to see how the Volcano Heist arc continues.
On another note, it has been 29 pages since we’ve seen Alinua. While yes, the Rescuing of the Boy is important, I can’t help but worry for the second most dangerous person to be around while napping.
Until the comic proves me wrong I choose to believe Alinua is having a great time at the mermaid equivalent of a cat café with the comfiest bean bags to nap on. She is fine. She will show up with mermaid Starbucks once the volcano heist is done and the heist group has rejoined the siblings.
Okay, so starbucks aren’t all that common in my country, I had to google if they were still here at all, and I haven’t been to one since ca. 2016… I don’t actuallly know their logo all that well…
