Hmm, Falst is in a running pose heading towards the forest; you can even see a foot/handprint in the sand at the bottom right of panel 4. He could just be avoiding the lava erupting around him, but his movements and expression on panel 3 imply a purpose. He’s going back for Tess, I just know it.
I’m finding it pretty tense right now; that bubble looks awfully small and fragile in the open ocean. I’m worried that with their attention on the ship wreckage, it could give the other Glacial Drake an opening to sneak up on them, like that one did with Kendal.
Friday’s page is going to be a cliffhanger, isn’t it?
