I see we’re getting to find out how competent or otherwise these paladins are first hand, in such a way as we can’t complain about, or assume they have, some sort of GPS to find out heroes.
That’s commendable.
Recten: Yes sir. It’s quiet, t-
Stefan: RECTEN! You dare finish that cliche line and you’ll be on dragon poop-scoop duty for a month.
Loquor (Suressa?): He’s not joking; he had me sharpen all the spears in the Snowfast after I paraphrased the Vulcan mind-meld mantra.
Yeah, if the extremely hardy, battle-ready and heat proof Ignans suddenly vanish, you know something is up; like how in OSP’s JttW the gang learnt that if Monkey ducks for cover, they should do the same.
So, what is Rakhn going to do? If it was a straightforward eruption, why would he grab Falst? Does he want to use the fireseed shard for something? Or maybe he’s actually helping Falst by getting him away from the eruption, in his own special, heavy-handed way. Will Falst find himself teleported somewhere Jolon-style, and find Tess there too?
Prediction for next week: Erin and Dainix time, with Dainix’s past experience of almost drowning brought up; while Dainix has put the blame of stranding them on Erin, I suspect a small part of him blames himself for not holding together. A personal, rather than professional, conversation between those two would be interesting.
Maybe leave the water dragons for the week after next, or as a Friday cliffhanger.
not sure i like the implications of that bubble next to the last panel
same :[
Who knew that fighting against the primordial spirit of darkness and evil would be such a headache?
im so impressed w how well the paladins r doing but i need them to do slightly less well so the floof squad can survive this
also the implication that dainix and erin might get trapped,,,,,,
Really? We’re just going to leave Falst hanging over the weekend, and maybe longer?
In fairness, if forty dragons rolled up to my island and started circling overhead, I too would go inside and shut the doors.
Anyways, since Zer0Wolf’s not here tonight:

If Rakhn’s NOT preparing to erupt I will eat my nonexistent hat.
Yup, it looks now like this chapter or the next will end with one biiig explosion.
