But since Vash ate his vegetables and didn’t do drugs, his super-stronk body survived even after his soul was hyper-succ’ed out of it.
Making a semi-independent avatar only to get captured and leave it behind to figure out this mortal coil alone? For shame Mr. Vash god guy, very irresponsible parenting. Still better than most gods though
The exciting implication is that conscience/sapience is a function of the body, not of the soul. A soul might override/modify/enhance it, but a soul is not strictly necessary.
This has all sorts of ramifications for (non-human) animal life, and possibly even for plant life. Fascinating.
