Interesting magic bird construct there, from the colour and shape it looks similar to that wind communication device the Zuurith guard used in 1-12-19. A message from Zuurith to inform them that Kendal is in jail? Communication from the Aseran embassy? An automated “No loitering” notice?

I might be (certainly am) focusing on the wrong thing here, but where did those bandages come from? did he prioritize bandaging himself above getting up? is there something magical plastering bandages on all injuries? did he get corrupted by something that merely looks like bandages?
oh so THATS why I couldnt see the second eye on the last page. I was wondering if it was a mistake or just ~covered in shadow~ but this makes sense too…
Off topic- should I be worried that my mum is reading MLK Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech for fun? I know she’s a history buff but it’s not normal for her to be interested in US history.

It looks like the bandages were already there, but that last hit to the head broke the helmet so we’re only just seeing them now.
yeah, we just saw dark shadow before, although you’d think you might see some hint of the bandage through the eye hole. eh. whatever.
