Poor PML, got close to the protagonists shenanigans several times now but keeps just missing them. Though the different Zuurith citizen reactions to her are pretty funny, especially how some of them immediately go back to what they were doing.

Alinua is clutching her birthmark, possibly subconsciously, and Falst is eyeing other angles away from the desk. Nice show of how they’re not nearly as comfortable as Erin is here.
So are the cloaks royal purple?
Though i do understand that most visual stories don’t put any emphasise on some colours being for the rich, since having most people wearing different shades of brown isn’t interesting to look at
I had the same theory, but on the Tumblr Red said that it was fairly easy to get purple dye, but not so much of it that it could be real vibrant, so while the cloaks are a status symbol, it isn’t because they’re purple, but because they’re *very* purple
She’s almost definitely looking for Falst, not Erin – she recognised him because of when they met fighting the dragon. That would also make sense of why the text on that page said ‘Missed Connections’
ok, apart from just how cool the mural in the last page looks, i love how erin (possessed by the void dragon and possibly going to get entangled with the white dragon in the future) is standing directly under the person between the dragons, like that HAS to be reference. or did everyone notice that and i just got excited over something super obvious

the fact that the last panel is angled so that the mural dragons are both coming out of erin’s head from either side gives me major “foreshadowing a battle in the center of the mind” vibes, so i wonder how that’ll pan out :eyes:

Hmm… Clever speech bubble placement, there. The bubble in the last panel conveniently covers most of the white dragon in the mural, leaving only the void dragon in clear view. Also very convenient that Voidy looks as though he’s spawning from Erin. The white dragon is too, upon closer inspection, but the eye is first drawn to the black dragon because of the speech bubble. This whole setup is a very fun bit of sneaky foreshadowing. At least, here’s hoping.
