Cool hero’s don’t look back at explosions. Kendal looks forwards as he goes to talk with the people hunting him and his friends after knocking out a dragon.
(later) Vros: (beginning to regain consciousness) Damn that swordsman! When I get steady I’m gonna- (sees the volcano erupting, the gang fighting, Stefan hella pissed, and maybe Alinua and the Northern Wyrm joining in) … I’m gonna pretend to still be unconscious for a bit.
Yep, I knew Kendal would go for a more concentrated and pinpoint knockout punch compared to Tess’s flashy, brute force approach; the difference between punching dragons for a job and punching dragons for a life I suppose. I’m quietly hopeful that this subtle takedown, combined with Vros not contacting their superiors, means Paladin reinforcements should be a long way off.
With Vros out and Calian on the ropes, the gang’s exit via under the ocean plan is looking safer. But with Kendal leaving the shoreline to meet with Falst and Tess, he isn’t contacting the Northern Wyrm anymore; we still haven’t got a solid idea about how Alinua and her allies will play into things. Next chapter maybe?

He is officially, Legendary.
I know life and fate are scary, but wanna be legendary~
It seems dragon can’t stop getting embarrassed by beings way below their weight class. Sad.
Oh I was right, the chapter’s about to end
At least the situation seems to be slowly turning for the better for the floof squad.
HEH. Got hit with a classic “knocked out with a pressure point” it never fails!
Time for a nap. Good night, sweet prince.
YAY! One more plot point resolved!
Now we just need Alinua to come back.
If she isn’t here on Wednesday I’m going to strangle someone.

What was that punch? Last page Kendal was about to strike with his right hand, not the sword.
So where did the starfire come from?
Seemingly from the bones. Was a bit surprised too but Vash could do it so it makes sense.
Yup, mentioned I think twice, once way back in an earlier chapter by Alinua and once by Vash during the Tynan fight
Aurora Question #64: If you could get one item from Aurora, which would you choose?
Erins bag. History, magic, lacrima’s, apparently the most compfyest of bed supplies.
