That’s the forest god. They’re talking about the mysterious GOLDEN EYED figure with the hood in the second-ish panel.

Isn’t convenient that Kendal can just have a chat with any local god that happens to be around. That seems very useful.
Not a lot to theorise on this page. Pretty damn sure Falst is going to join our little bandwagon floof squad and i am all for it. Plus based on the stuff I’ve seen they’re guarding something important, possibly for Gleicann, but i’m not sure.
Doesn’t matter really tho, because poor Kendal was clearly not expecting to be so utterly intimidated by this dude, so hopefully he’s chill…

idk to be honest, I’m just dealing in wild speculation based on the cover art we’ve seen for this chapter. And i’m too tired to care about sounding stupid online.
I think Gleicann is going to tell Kendal more about The Collector, based on the chapter’s cover art and on the fact that Lady Ilia told him to seek out other gods for advice and information
Yeah, Kendal’s final remark was pretty funny. What makes it funnier is that he probably searched through Vash’s memories as Gleicann spoke and went “Wait, he’s taller than Vash remembers…”
Well Kendal, he is a growing boy. God. Whatever. Somewhere there’s probably a door frame with a whole bunch of dated notches from when Gleicann was a just a sprout.

Wait, wait, wait, WAIT. Is THAT why Kendal is alive? He’s linked in someway to the sword? The lore page did say that the metal was used, at least temporarily, in one of Vash’s incarnations. Vash made the metal a part of himself. Is that what Kendal is alive? Is that why he picked Kendal as his name? He subconsciously remembered the name he already had?
Wait, where’s Left Hand? Are we gonna have Right Hand vs. Left Hand? Is somebody gonna get amputated?

Pretty early on, Alinua said that people started leaving her offerings because they noticed her effect on the nearby plants. Gleicann is a nature god. Is it possible he’s directly benefiting from Alinua’s presence as a Chimeric Plague carrier/ vessel of the Life Primordial?
I bet Falst is this dude’s emissary and he’s pissed that this rando gets to just waltz up and start chatting with him

It’s possible, but I’ll bet it’s just been hundreds of years since Vash last spoke to him. Ilia did say he wasn’t very social.

*cracks knuckes* OK! reviewing what we know of falst based on the twitter posts, foreshadowing from the trope talks and what we’ve seen of him in the comic so far, i firmly believe he’s going to be a loner by nature. at least at first. He’s also guarding some kind of green crystal, which based on the discussion he seems pretty firm on spying on, is somehow going to link back to him in some way. Maybe people are after it and him both and are using the chimera to draw him out or force his hand?
Either way i think the next conversation with floof squad is going to be centred on ‘It’s none of your business, leave it alone’

Gotten taller, eh? Maybe more people have been worshiping Gleicann so his powers have increased since Vash’s last visit. Could mystery guy in panel 2 be on of his worshipers?
Nice work making this forrest spirit look distinctly different to Alinua power wise, both are distinctly nature based yet each has a unique style to them. Ali has a gentle, wispy glow and vine details, Erin has clinical and sharp runes in a perfect circle and Gleicann has a yellow-green glow with spore-like Kirby dots.
TL;DR: Vashn’t goes to talk to a rock which, interestingly enough, responds by turning into a big plant man. Apparently big plant man has gotten taller than last time he saw Pantene god.

sorry if I lashed out, I hate it when the cleverness of a name gets thrown aside as when people hear something about a character or form of media, they latch onto it, even if it’s false. They latch onto the first thing they hear and refuse to believe anything else. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I’m a pokemon fan, and you do know how many times I have to correct people that, rayquaza isn’t based on manda (a kaygu, I think from ultra man), it’s based on quetsal qualtal, the feathered serpent from Aztec mythology (also I know I’m spelling that wrong) and you do not know how many people go “nah ah, it’s based on manda.” Yes, there are pokemon based on kaygu’s (Tyranitar is a mix of Godzilla and Bemular)(people also refuse to believe that tyranitar is based on more than just Godzilla)(it’s both) but it’s more likely that the serpent, legendary, wind god pokemon would be based on the serpent, legendary, wind god Aztec god, then some big ol’ snek from some show, don’t yah think? I’m sorry for the rant, I needed to get this off my chest and to see my biggest pet peeve that makes me irrationally angry be applied in a comic that’s so important to me made me go ballistic. In earlier pages people said that kendal and vash were ambidextrous, I guy on this pages comment section pointed out that kendal was ambidextrous, and yet people are still calling kendal a lefty (nothing against lefty’s, I’m left handed as well, just annoyed) kendal is a great character with little details that make him so great and I hate how people overlook them for a “haha kendal means right-hand despite kendal being a lefty.” When kendal means right-hand literally for the sword, and means right-hand-man for the character, a little detail that makes him so great. I guess my real issue with this how people misrepresent kendal’s name, not how they misrepresent his hand dominance.
