Is it just me, or does replying seem to be intermittently broken? I’ve noticed several other comments that seemed to be meant as replies appearing as top-level comments, and I posted a message the other day that was supposed to be a reply and ended up as a regular comment. And I’ve noticed that often when I click the “Reply” button, I just get the regular comment text box with a “Post Comment” button rather than the text box below the other comment with the “Post Reply” button.
For the record, I clicked “Reply” on Marty Nozz’s comment to post this, because it looks like he was trying to reply to Just curious…. The reply text box didn’t appear, so I suspect this will NOT end up as a reply – let’s find out.

I think you can’t reply if you’re on the home page (always shows the most recent page). If you’re on any other page or hit the “next” button on the last page, you can reply.

I’m just realizing on my first reread of this comic that you actually showed what went wrong here. you see the effect of the wind in every panel except in the last two when kendal realizes something’s wrong. I really love that you had that detail.
