Kendal Vashn’t Floofyboy – such a majestic title for our protagonist
One of my biggest questions is how Kendal would respond to being called “floofy boi.” Would he find it funny? Would he find it aggravating? Does he have a sense of humor? Who knows, certainly not me.
My guess would be that the two day old Kendal would say “Huh?” and look puzzled, but I am not author here.

This further contributes to a theory i saw in the discord, that the languages of Aurora are all based on syllable-based characters, sorta like Hangul

Not-Vash calls him Kendal. Mollusk-Elf thinks it’s a silly name. Red realizes this is not such an exotic name. GreatWyrmGold is glad for the excuse to stop calling the characters by silly nicknames because none of Alinua’s have felt right.

TL;DR
I had the same problem myself. I named a city in my world ‘Nikosia’ not knowing that ‘Nicosia’ was the capital of Cyprus. More recently versions I have been referring to it as Nicosia, and now I’m not sure which is better.
that’s not as bad as my problem
i had this really cool story idea, with my favorite main character named Jarel. Little did I know, there was an actual character in the book Enchantress from the Stars that was actually named Jarel. I felt really bad ’cause all the other people in that story idea had original names (i hope)
I have a classmate with the same name, but since they are a girl, my friend has to use the A more so it doesn’t sound like a girls name and i will always correct them, so this is now a cycle of them saying it and me correcting them. (sorry if this was boring)

DID YOU KNOW: I literally didn’t know “Kendall” was a real name when I started writing this. I saw it on some kid’s locker in high school years later and was like “OH NO!!”
Anyway, everyone say hi to Kendal, in this fantasy world it is a very weird and unusual name.
Rather ironic as a name given that he is a lefty.
Kendal outright states the vash’s incarceration is a war machine, in multiple panels, we see him use his sword when it’s held in his right hand, do you really think a god who can make their body from the ground up and made it specifically to be a war machine would not make himself ambidextrous.
Also I think that “right-hand” refers to right hand man, as kendal is the only living emissary of Vash, and thus, his right hand man
At last, my days writing euphemisms are over
Now he has a name, Kendal is what he goes for

Imagine calling your friend “right hand” Bro, that is the whole reason why we called him “not-Vash”, ” vashn’t” and F L O O F Y B O I
I had a pretty similar issue haha. One of the characters in my story is named Caec’lan (pronounced “Kaik-lahn”), and in my senior year of high school I met a freshman named Caelan (“Kay-len”). I did a massive double take the first time I saw his name written out.
