giant… what? ro-bot? no, no! of course not! this is a self-respecting FANTASY comic! this is, uh… this is different. because it’s magic. and made of rocks.
shadow of the colossus? never heard of it! shhhh
“Wake me up, we got to go go.
Good thing Golem’s stuck on your vines though.”
………….
Sorry, this is the most imaginatively witty thing I can think of at the moment.
Wake me up, we go to go go
Better hurry or our end is nigh
Wake me up, we got to go go
Cause I’m not planning on facing it solo
Wake me up, we got to go go
We’re not dying tonight
I Hope That We Don’t, DIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!! Yeah Yeah, Yeah Yeah Yeah!
Absolute unit, I hear…
Well, thats a cool golem? colossus? — coolossus!
Though the vine-spell made them angry, if anything XD
Good Luck Floofy Boi and Ally 😉
I feel like 75% of their friendship can be summarized by “THANK YOU BUT DON’T DO THAT AGAIN”
yES
*hAA
Glorious
yeah maybe they SHOULD hang out in that tree for a while longer. The more stuff attacks them, the higher the chances that Ally WILL do that again, many times.
My boy finna to stab the ground.
this entire comic is so freaking gorgeous
I just love entirely completely original monster that are unlike absolutely anything that could ever have possibly existed!!!!!!!!!
^Sorry for the sarcasm?
Red narrates like 80% of Overly Sarcastic Productions. I’m sure she will be fine.
If its a puppet, someone else might just be the new puppeteer…
I think Golem is the word you’re looking for, Red.
There seams to be a lot of ‘don’t do that again’ going around between those two lol 🙂
Such a nice group – a group of people who genuinely care about each other’s mental and physical health, and work together to fight whatever. Maybe it’s a metaphor for people with mental illness hanging out with each other.
It’s a no-bot
Can we please not call it a golem? Golems are Jewish-specific and putting yourself on the side of people against golems is putting yourself on the side of genocidal antisemites. Can we please stop referring to D&D’s appropriation of others cultures to inform our fantasy. Please.
I’m specifically talking about the comments section, FYI. I know in-story they’re not called that.
attack on titan is just like gundam. and a necromancer controlling the corpse of a giant. or a shaman piloting the shell in which he was born. same same
TL;DR: The hand is attached to a primitive mecha, which Fatalist Elf catches with some vines. She and Not-Vash follow Not-Vash’s advice to run while Not-Vash tells her to stop using magic.
Is it a Sentinel? Those hakkama… hommunculi? Just a golem? Who knows?
Dreamking, while I know it may seem like that for you, it may not be that way for everybody. And nobody is saying anything like “Frick Golems”, or “Golems suck”.
Now I’m not trying to say that it’s fine, what I’m trying to say is that different people from the same culture might view it differently, and you should try to respect each person’s individual wishes.
Also, D&D takes a lot of liberties with their creatures. Take Tiamat for example. Or Bahamut. Or Gorgons. Or Medusae. Case in Point.
And D&D takes a lot of liberties with its creatures. Take Tiamat and Bahamut for example. Or Gorgons. And don’t get me started on Medusae.
I though it was a golem, but shows what I know
for context, the alt text (hey, that’s a pun! I think….):
now that is a UNIT
whate what
Ensnaring the beast with vines lets them run
Blondie is thankful but doesn’t want another one
Ha! I love that Red is trying to cover up that this is a robot and then goes ahead and writes Chapter 19
This might be the coolest thing I have ever seen—
