It takes a fair bit to get on Falst’s friend list, but when you’re there, expect him to go above and beyond for you. Dainix asked him to spellcarve to get them out of danger, and he did just that. Admittedly the rouge stone breaking spell might have made another life threatening situation, but hey, what’s a frying pan without a fire?
Perfect timing for Alinua’s roots; judging from the stone magic lines snaking upwards to the ceiling, that lacrima could have caused a cave in if her magic hadn’t arrived to help bind the earth. Also nice change in ambient colour from pale green stone to vibrant green life.
Prediction for next week: Now, not only are they close to rescue, but Dainix knows they’re close to rescue (he did see Alinua at the site of the giant Zuurith tree after all). He’ll forget about busting down the door and braving the cave, instead waiting for an apeteure above to make their escape. Maybe Falst will get bonked by the wind borb on the way up too.

Anonymous Aurora Question #15: How do you think other pairs of characters (e.g. Kendal and Alinua, but also side character or antagonistic couples which may or may not have ever met, like the collector and the Void dragon, or Zuurith and Vash) would have acted if put into their very own personal Traumatic Zombie Dungeon? What would be their traumatic experience, and how would they get out of the Trauma Dungeon?
Tess and Erin would be the ultimate fighter+mage/big guy+smart guy duo. Stick em in a dungeon together and they would wreck shop. Plus, as siblings, they automatically have power of friendship/power if love advantages turned on, meaning they each have at least +2 resistance to trauma attacks.
I am still holding my breath story-wise. I would passed out several weeks ago if I actually held my breath from the panel Erin started digging down (fr0m 1.22.5).
I have a feeling that something big is about to happen in this very chapter: either some very important piece of lore is about to be dropped or a major plot line is going to begin.

Dainix, your cloak is fire proof not boulder proof, I don’t think it’s gonna help much. Thankfully Alinua’s here to save the day. I kinda hope they resolve everything before Kendal and Tess arrive, remind Kendal that he doesn’t have to be the hero all the time.
For the record: I am 100% on board with Dainix being able to regrow arms because “Fire form”.
But how did he re…grow(?) the bracer/items with that arm?

I’d like to see Shrike and Trusk in one. There’s a chance they would witness the same events, and it would be interesting to see how they cooperated.
