It has come to our attention the boulder isn’t, nor was ever named, Vash. We have since sacked our editor for his gross incompetence. Vash was the soul hyper-succ’d into the iKnife. Prince Charming is therefore only half-Vash. Half-n-Vash, if you will.

It’s weird how you don’t realise how many Kingdom Hearts references there are in this comment section till you go through the pain and torture that is trying to understand the plot of Kingdom Hearts.
Also I am the pedantic nerd who will point out that Vash lost his soul, not his heart (they are 2 different things in KH) to become a Nobody you need to loose your heart, if you loose your soul in KH, you die. The Nobody is a body with just a soul and no heart, a heartless is a heart engulfed in darkness and nothing else, and a heart with a soul still attached to it becomes a spirit of pure darkness. Oh, and if you willingly give up your heart, half your soul goes with it, so when you become a heartless your Nobody will have no memories of being you. This is why Roxas has amnesia and Xemnas had to use The Chamber of Reposed to regain the memories of Terra, Xehenort, and Terranort.
Interested, I went to a nort-name generator, if Vash was a member of Organization XIII his name would be Sxavh (look, it’s the only name that looked like it could be pronounced in an ok sort of way, the first name to come up was just Vash with an X in the front. I imagine it would be pronounced, shav, the h is silent) and Kendal would be Kadlexn
