TL;DR: Not-Vash can remember Vash’s memories. A couple of centuries ago, there was this kid who was really good at healing and did all sorts of healing stuff. I’m sure this will end well.
Alinua’s is the correct symbol, the Life rune. Iras’s is just … a rune that happens to be green. Knowing what we know now about Alinua’s situation, is it possible that Life has been trying over and over to draw her rune onto these children, but because she got it wrong, they ended up being horrendously dangerous instead?
It’s….. Kinda weird that she won’t just out right tell him why it’s dangerous. Why all the cloak and dagger? I get that it’s to provide some exposition dump, but still…. It feels like it’s building unnecessary tension between the two.
Perhaps it’s just more efficient? She feels that searching through Vash’s memories will have the emotional impact she wants, more so than verbally explaining?
Honestly, it says a lot about Alinua either way it’s being interpreted. Perhaps she doesn’t fully understand the plague herself, just that it’s bad? Is it that she has a hard time talking about it, feeling guilty or sad thinking about what she could someday become? Or maybe she sees Kendal’s determination and realizes that she can’t get through to someone who’s clearly this stubborn and one minded and so the only way to make him realize the importance is appealing to the one figure he might to listen to. He literally almost got himself killed, and even after being healed, immediately went to finding Vash, so clearly reason and caution aren’t big things, but Vash is
“Plant growth,” not “planet growth.” I am pretty sure planet growth would be worse.
good catch! typo’s been fixed

The REAL Red!!??! Man you must be lucky, I need to find a typo in a panel
Can we call it the Kurama Plague?
…. I’ll see myself out.
Alinua in the first panel is absolute meme material

It seems what’s mantle has been taken up by a worthy successor.

Did anybody notice that Iras has a differently shaped birthmark than Aliuna? Interesting.

“Ask Vash about it!” and so he does
A story unfolds, exposition for us
His rune…mark?…is different from Alinua’s. Not to spoil anything, but would that mean anything about the changes of the runes over time?
Error alert! {i think} “The farmers adored him and his unusual skill, never seen { it????} so strong in one so young.”
