Aw Falst, I know you want to protect your new friends but maybe picking a fight with a big territorial dragon is on the bad side of the idea spectrum.
He has known them for all of 2 days, during which they were mostly fighting eachother. Yet he’s already protective of them. He is so much more of a softy than he wants to admit.
Also, are we going to talk about how the dragon went bloosh in panel 5. Like I know it’s supposed to be scary but come on.

I’d be so funny if we cut away from this fight scene, and by the time Erin and Alinua arrive, Falst is already playing fetch with the dragon (Eee… you want the big bolder… or the small bolder….? …the big one? Oh you want it? You want it? Go get it!)

Still got some common sense going on, he just wants it out of the woods. Doesn’t seem to think highly of his new teammates level of common sense though

seriously its a good song and it reaaaaally kinda fits this moment
“DON’T WORRY, MY FRIENDS! HOPE HAS ARRIVED! BECAUSE I AM HERE!”
We need to wait on Plus Ultra until it’s like halfway through the fight and he’s really bloody and tired, and then, in a moment of pure reckless determination, he boots the dragon into the sky like he did with Shirii. Snek, dragon, one’s just practice for the other.
Is it normal in Aurora to semi-casually chat to dragons you’re fighting? Cause we’ve seen it happen twice now.
Um, Falst, you didn’t notice the dragon until it began to move. I don’t think you can criticise the others on how you assume they would encounter it.
Now is he not finding it fun because of having to handle a cranky dragon solo or because of the water? If it’s the latter I’m sure a survivalist like him can swim and Erin could always use fire and wind magic to blow-dry him afterwards.
On the art side of things I like that water slash effect, combining the solid shape and colour of the water mixed with lighter and less well defined Kirby dots.
Of course it is! What, you DON’T pepper your dragon fights with dialogue?
Is it a sign that Tess is coming? Maybe.
Falst, one of the advantages of friends is they can help you fight the big ones.
