If you think about it this team is currently a suicide squad.
A massive healer, a tank with literal metal bones who is believed to be if not immortal at least very difficult to kill and a mage who can use every element and heal.
With this premise a broken arm should be something that Alinua is able to shrug off with life magic.
Unless she loses her shit and the literal life magic bomb she is holding causes a mess.
*Attention. I repeat, attention. The lacrima has been broken, the lacrima has been broken. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill.* Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no this is bad, and also what is onthe chapter 10 cover is most likely about to happen…
I always wonder about this when a character declares “My turn” during a fight. Who in their right mind is going to wait and let you get a hit in? Its a fight. You generally keep hitting the person trying to hurt you and your friends until they stop or someone/thing else forces you both to stop.
Also, you could have used that time & energy to get in more damage or escape, whichever your goal is.
It is such a melodramatic and angsty thing to say. Tbh, whenever a character says it I genuinely feel a little nauseous, but…
I guess it kind of fits Falst’s edgy and talkative character, and at least he said it after he attacked. I still want Alinua or Kendal to be like “Lol nope” in response tho.
Holy shit, did he just break her arm? Well, I guess that’s one way to make her drop the lacrima, and honestly, since she’s tried to murder him, this seems fair
To be fair, what he did to Kendal after he tried to get back Erin’s stolen goods would have amounted to leaving him for dead had Kendal not happened to be in the body of a god. While this whole thing has escalated very quickly, Falst did throw the first punch.
Oh those first four panels are beautiful, they flow so well together, nice one.
Throwing rocks now? Sure it’s effective, if that crack is her arm breaking, but seriously not cool Falst. Especially as that came close to cracking the lacrima. (I could totally see him as the kid who puts rocks in snowballs)
Well at least he’s learnt to say the one-liners “after” the attack rather than before.
those first four panels look like they come out of an anime! and by that i mean they look extremly awesome and dynamic
Okay, okay, we get it. You’re both very good at fighting. Now KENDAL GET OVER HERE WE NEED YOU TO STOP THEM FROM KILLING EACH OTHER.
kendal i choose you! use protective hug!
Seriously I am DYING here
here i present to you a game for all ages!
dodgestone! dodgeball but magic and instead of balls: rocks
“If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.” *throws wrench* “Any other questions?”
if ya lose your entire team dies seems fais doesn’t it
Oh my goodness did he just bruise her arm
More broken than bruised judging by the sound
Oh man I forgot ferins have super strength

Also her eyes aren’t completely glowing anymore
Falst: “My turn.”
Me: *Falst have leveled up! +2 angst*
*chefs kiss*
Uhh he’s using a stone lacrima right? This will get fun…
I thought he was just throwing a rock
Ah, through it was a stone lacrima cuz of the glowing white onomatopoeia text
That might be white for the bone he just fractured.

I don’t think it’s the lacrima that broke. It looks the same as it did in the previous panel at least. I think Alinua’s arm broke.
Yeah the lacrima’s fine FOR NOW. Alinua’s arm is the broken thing.
Phew false alarm guys. I need to get my eyes checked…
At least we know what to look for in the comments when the lacrima does break.
“My turn”? Falst, this isn’t a turn-based RPG, this is a battle royale. She’s not going to wait while you put together a big finishing move.

Hmm. So is Falst left-handed or ambidextrous?
My guess is ambidextrous
either ambidextrous, or just pointing at her and winding up for the next throw.
This guys are OP
*these. Sorry I can’t write Dx
I really shouldn’t find the fact that he’s resorted to chucking rocks at her funny, especially because he has enhanced strength. But I do.
Lol
Can anything stop this guy?!

TL;DR: Maybe a not so fair fight.
Damn, lionboy is durable AF
