Okay, I’m just rolling thru the station here on a re run from the start (again), and I just realized…. Well I only have to put it out there since I’ve learned nothing seems to happen on accident in this plot… But had anyone else ever picked up on how the guy at the far right of the first panel has VD’s eyes?
Or am I reading too far into it and those are just ferin eyes?
Point is it could add a whole ‘nother layer of intrigue if Walter and the collector had been co-conspirators in the destruction of Vash to further both of their interests…
@Darksun
My thought was it’s like a cult/religion worshipping Vash. Obviously everyone worships Vash, but they’re like… dnd-style clerics or priests or something similar
@CrabMasterJack
Naw, VD’s eyes don’t have any of the white parts of the eye.
A crowd of people, some injured and with bandages, are gathered around a pillar. Their faces are gaunt and serious. The pillar has a sword stuck in it. The sword has a white blade, and a gold hilt and crossguard, and a blue gem rests in it where the blade meets the hilt. Soft blue light surrounds the sword and pillar.
Putting a thing on sword parts because I want to:
The blade is the sharp part. That’s kinda obvious.
The crossguard are the two things sticking out the side of the sword near where you hold it and where they meet.
The hilt is where you hold the sword.
The pommel is the end of the hilt, all the way at the bottom (or top, depending on how you look at it) of the sword.
And then the scabbard is what you put the sword in when you’re not using it. This technically isn’t a part of a sword but if you have a sword you most likely have a scabbard so
I’m pretty sure this is right. (:
TL;DR: Suddenly, disappointing medieval convention.
alt-text: Why so blue?
Oh wacky
Dude on the far left in the first panel kinda looks like Wilbur Whatley but blue and short
My brain immediately thought “blonde dunmer” upon seeing him
Is that a Dark Elf or Dark Elf variant in the background?
“Why so blue?” Because they’re historians, obviously.
From Jesus to Prince Arthur
HMM
Noses, so many noses…
Okk did you have to be so dramatic in introducing Vash red ?
Today’s Alt Text:
Why so blue?
okay but who are those people in white robes with omega-ish symbols on them?
OOOOOOH
HEY NEW PEOPLE!!!!
YALL GONNA LOVE THIS!
S***’s AWSOME!
Lots of world building in one page
Concerned citizens
staring at a glowing sword.
What will happen next?

An Arthurian sword, or at least in a stone
The citizens waiting. ”What is going on?”

Now how many people will show up here from the end of chapter 19?
It’s crazy to go back and see how much the art’s improved
ALL HAIL THE TRANS SWORD -=-
Everyone: what are we looking at
Cultists: shut up the concerts about the start
Everyone: it’s just a sword?
Red would be great at CinemaSins.
