You know… having read the rest of the comic and knowing what vash is capable of vs how this fight played out, it feels like the collector might have gotten a bit lucky she killed Vash before he realized how much of a threat she was, and hit her with Starfire. Arguably, he maybe should have done that a few panels ago when the city started being destroyed… The collector’s healing factor is quite impressive, but no living thing can survive on the surface of a star. Oh well. The plot happens! And good thing, otherwise Erin gets no help and Walter eats the sun.
