I think to a certain extent she is aware of the social ramifications and the fact that it will hurt him physically and not just emotionally, but I don’t think that she cares whatsoever. It seems a lot like the collector has a serious mental deficiency when it comes to the ability to feel empathy that is-SPOILERS- possibly due to the ramifications of touching the mind of a primordial, one in deep pain (as Alinua made her connection with life much later, when life seemingly had reformed more and was capable of feelings other than “everything hurts make it stop, make it stop”) without protection. The only other people we have seen connect with such a powerful entity are Alinua, who was essentially born as the perfect vessel for Life and still struggled with Life’s overwhelming presence, and Erin, who despite only having to deal with a small portion of VD in his head, is still deeply troubled by it and absolutely terrified (although he seems to hate admitting it) that his mental link with VD will make him go insane and harm people
Red’s drawings are so cool. I’m happy i decided to check this out. I wish I could think of something sarcastic to say like the others in the chat but ma brain done broke o
. The ground shakes and roaring fills the air as tongues of rock emerge from the ground, rushing toward the city. The walls crumble, homes and towers tearing from the earth as the city is buried under stone.
. “So, the reason.” The woman continues, “Simply put–”
. “STOP!” Vash screams, lunging towards her.
Second-reading take: Vash is clearly too much of a paragon to just kill the collector the moment he realizes what’s going on. Instead, he politely begs her to stop. Presumably the horror of what’s happening, and what it means for him, is also an element.
I can see the slow motion happening in picture form XD.
TL;DR: Evil Genetics Major exploits the fact convention is built over San Andreas faultline, to Charming’s dismay.
She’s so calm! Very curious whether she’s fully socially aware of her actions or super earnest “oops, i didn’t realize u would freak out like that”

I thought MWF was slow. This page was uploaded a full month after the one before it, unless the dating system is wrong.
Wait, did she really just DESTROY AN ENTIRE CITY!?
The ground was hungry.
And so ate his city up.
What a tasty meal.
The mountains rise toward the city
Vash pleads but she has no pity

C’mon, Vash, don’t interrupt her. That’s rude!
