I don’t know if it’s all part of your sinister master plan, but your art actually rekindles my hopes for humanity. Thanks for helping to keep the lights on.
Ah, lovely, we can see the sky again. Luckily it’s the exact right time of night and one of the moons was in that exact position for this shot, otherwise it might have been hard to tell!
Because I’m staying up way too late, I have, for the first time, been among the first people to view a new page. This will not be a regular occurrence.
This is Vash’s “Serious Series: Serious Punch” move right here.
You can see Sword (the red moon) in the final panel! It looks so refreshing after 4 whole chapters of perpetually overcast weather (barring the holes that Erin made earlier).
Remember when we all thought the fire mages of Zuurith would band together to burn away Tynan’s clouds? Then in comes Vash to single-bladedly dunk on all of them. (I was kind of hoping for a team effort, but Vash summoning a truly epic amount of starfire is cool too.)
Red, are you trying give me flashbacks to my early teen days watching Bleach? Because it’s working.
Phenomenal art again, especially the final panel. The look of defeat on Tynan’s bifurcated face, his form and clouds dissipating revealing the stary sky and Sword the moon, Vash standing solidly and powerful as his enemy collapses; equal parts beautiful and satisfying.
The clouds parting give me the impression Tynan has been weakened to the point he can’t come back. V.D.’s attack only stopped the rain, it might have parted the clouds if left uninterrupted, but this is definite. Now is the time to make Tynan swear to a new oath of banishment.

Tynan hit Kendal,
Everybody hit Tynan.
Tynan hit Erin,
Void hit Tynan.
Dainix hit Void,
Kendal stops Dainix.
Tynan hit Kendal,
Kendal calls his father who beat the shit out of Tynan.
@crowan No one gave Red the right crowan, she had to what all (artistic) masters do- study deep, work hard so that they cry to reach their best and care for what they create.
I still don’t know if this rodeo is done turning…
The comment section: DING DONG THE B***H IS DEAD
My brain: ah, but he’s gotten six months of villainy and monologues on his side, do you still think he could be defeated that easily?
AAHH the sky!!! Is it over? Wow…
You know, this felt almost like a tournament arc. Even though there was no tournament it served a similar purpose: a brief moment of “what’s this guy’s deal?” And then we get to see what their deal is. Not to mention how long it was.
And also, we never saw June after the magic eye glow when she saw Erin
HOly shit this page is GLORIOUS. I GAPED at the 3rd panel and couldn’t even move on to read the next one for a solid minute.
let me guess, in the next few pages we get another one of them ‘sike, THIS is the kaiju fight’ (why yes, I’m only guessing this because I want it to be over)
@Alleyyy a very satisfyng breakdown of the situation.

Just thought about the Collector appearing, grabbing Vash back plus Kendal and Tynan as a bonus
(she was looking for something that can sever a soul essence and starmetal looks like the perfect material)
can we appreaciate Vash in the last panel? he looks so cool even without a face: in fact, he looks like the Vash from Tahraim’s story of Tynan’s original storming. nice touch
i’ve been enjoying the hell out of “The War of the Blue Glow Effects” of the last few updates, and it occurs to me that if this was adapted to animation it would be even easier to differentiate the glows through animation. Also i think this would be a great story to adapt to an animated format, in large part because the storytelling and characterization is so great, and not just because it’s already fantastically storyboarded.
He’s not forever-gone, though. He’s a god. He’s just vanquished. Eventually he can limp together a little cloud, perhaps even a cold front, and wander up and down the coastline somewhere. It may just be a while before he can put together an incarnation again.
I think the medical term for Tynan’s current state is dead.
For mobile viewers.

Ha! Deal with it Tynan!

Another thought came to mind:
I’m blue, da bu dee da bu di
Wohooo, the dragon’s dead! Curious to see what will happen to Tynan now. Another oath or will Vash wipe him out completely?
The dragon lunges, screaming “NO! NO!”
Power flows from Vash’s heart,
And leaps in eye aching brilliance from his sword.
The dragon is torn apart.
Thanks in advance to Zer0 W0lf for helping all of us on mobile. Our hero.
Awwww… poor Tynan. Maybe he can make another deal with Vash.
get rekt

And that looks like the end for Tynan…
Vash: Bad kitty!
I’m not entirely sure what’s happening to Tynan, but Vash was indeed right. This part gets bright
Tynan’s no good very bad horrible day indeed! And for those on mobile the alt text is ‘w a s t e d’

Finally, that boss fight is over. It was one hell of a fight.
absolutly georgeous
Rest in pieces, Tynan

HOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLYYYYY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZ!!! Red, what gives you the right to be the best damn everything?
SMITE!
Ok this is getting to much there re way to many glowie effects
There once was a storm-god jerk
Whose plan was to scare, not irk.
But he did not reckon
Upon Kendal’s beckon–
Now Vash has wiped off his smirk.
Vash: To show you the power of flex tape, I cut this Dragon in half!
Hmm wait small problem there Vash, I think you obliterated, not cut.
Is this a twist on the Superpowered Evil Side? Instead making it a superpowered good side???
Wonder what the consequences will be?
Great job as always Red!!!

I still don’t know if this rodeo is done turning…
At this point Zuurith is probably reconsidering a lot of things.
One of which is “I hope Vash doesn’t hold a grudge for how I treated Kendal….”
Ass: Kicked
NO! A horrible scream he gives
Vash is finished, and Tynan barely lives

My good sir are you feeling indisposed? Perhaps you should rest for a bit and continue your monologue later. Or possibly never.
Guys, I think that person is a Super Saiyan!

So that happened! Red are you done making yourself cry every time you have to think ‘oh god I have to draw another one of these don’t I?’ now? XD

This would be the part of the anime that got things turned into cubes
TL;DR: How much blue is too much? It’s never too much when you’ve got two big blue gods dueling each other!
can we appreaciate Vash in the last panel? he looks so cool even without a face: in fact, he looks like the Vash from Tahraim’s story of Tynan’s original storming. nice touch

Well.
Sorry @someone who loves dragons…
If it makes you feel any better, he was a Poser Dragon anyway…
ok I just have to say: I love how the effects make it almost impossible to see what’s going on. After all, Vash warned us mortals to look away.
He’s not forever-gone, though. He’s a god. He’s just vanquished. Eventually he can limp together a little cloud, perhaps even a cold front, and wander up and down the coastline somewhere. It may just be a while before he can put together an incarnation again.
Especially since wherever he goes people will laugh at him, now
Question bag: can we please leave the TL;DRs to me?
Tynan was bifurcated by a dead god.
Are we approaching Lovecraft territory?
soooooooo……
what happened to the soul binder persons version of vash
Hi Kyana (from RWD) in the top panel! I may be wrong, but blonde and sleeveless there looks familiar.
