Once more, into the breach!
Is Alinua in some powered up state or is the glow her self-healing?
Your second guess reminds me of AOT post-transformation healing(with al the steam etc..), that’s a cool effect!
But what if the will of her entity is manifesting with the strength of her powers?
Then things might get dirty the next time they encounter the being possessing Erin. One thing I have been wondering about, Life seems to be the opposite of this dark element (which I’m fairly sure is consumption). So if Alinua were to go into the cave somehow projecting a bubble of life energy around her, would she be fine? Thoughts?
I’m not sure if SHE can, but perhaps her primordial can…
Knowing what is and what isn’t common sense happens when you have the experience and knowledge of societal norms to base it off of.
In this case then, could it be considered common sense for Kendal since the main experiences he’s seen so far have included saving people, running headlong into danger, and having a general disregard for his own personal safety, etc.? ?
That makes sense actually
she’s a good friend
Meanwhile Erin: We are going to see the wizard, the magical wizard of Oz
Do i see some journey to the west-influencce here? – nah, can’t be ^^
Of course kendal didn’t expect alinua to suggest this, that’s his job!
Damn, she’s still healing…
No, Kendal, what you call ‘common sense’, most people would call ‘desperation’. You know this thing is very dangerous and malicious, and it wants to go into the cave system, so letting it go unimpeded is a bad thing, and you don’t have the time to gather allies powerful and brave/reckless enough to venture into the caves to stop it.
Kendal, here’s an important safety tip: don’t do things that kill you
What doesn’t kill you now might kill you later.
Honestly, even if you do absolutely nothing, entropy will kill you sooner or later, so you’re just f***ed no matter what
How co(s)mically amusing.
?”What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”?
Yah, and what kills yah kills yah, so don’t run towards the obvious trap. Don’t run towards the eldritch horror. Don’t run towards hopeless endeavors if noone else is in danger. That’s common sense. You have to learn common sense.
“Common sense is not so common” – I forget who said this, it’s not an original quote made by me
Is it concerning that I relate to Kendal on more than one level?
it depends on what u relate to, bc if its bc u are what’s left behind from a god, i kinda wanna talk
Ah, the beauty of irony. I see you coming eventually!
There is a reason D&d characters cannot take proficiency in common sense… or common knowledge.
common sense is more rare than one would think
Kendal is rubbing off on Alinua it seems.
Like the detail of the green glowing areas gradually lessening between panels 3 and 5, the one on her cheek especially.
I love the way it’s often ambiguous whether Kendal does something because Vash would have done it or because he was born less than a week ago.
TL;DR: Floofy boi doesn’t know what common sense means. Oh, right, also the rest of the Floofcrew follows Dark floof to rescue Nerd floof.

Well it seems they must go and get their friend
Though common sense is not a means to this end
Kendal: wait-wait- hol up- what’s common sense????????? I thought you just-boop! into the cave!
now it just jumped from 14 to 16
I AM an idiot – I only just now understood you have to copy both the one up and the one down
