Alinua: “I have questions for you.”
Erin, two pages later: “No, I have questions for YOU!”
Also, Alinua to Kenal: “Now what?”
Kendal: “IDK, You where supposed to be the bad cop!”
Will Erin get what’s going on by himself? Or will Alinua come to terms with what she is and blow her cover?
Find out on Monday in Journey to– no wait wrong series xD
He’d probably respond along the lines of “I’m the Elemental Magus. You don’t get much more Life Mage-y than me outside of divine intervention, and we’re talking the top-tier gods, not lowly city gods like Vash.”
So Erin gets a symbol on his chest, (the symbol of the comic, so it’s probably important) just like the symbols for the six elements, and now the Seventh Element page is password protected? Hmmm…
I think the chances are actually pretty good Alinua will tell Erin, there’s actually three things in favour of Erin NOT ‘reporting her to authorities’.
The first, obviously enough, is that Erin would not even consider allowing himself anywhere near ANYONE, including anyone who might wish to lock Alinua away or something.
Secondly, simple curiosity should drive Erin to want to learn more. How did Alinua hold off losing control for so long? What is this mysterious being she’s seeing, is it friendly? Is it the Life Primordial? Might it help him get rid of his own ‘curse’.
Thirdly, and actually related to the first point, it would be hypocritical of Erin to diss Alinua for being the current Chimera carrier, as he is now himself a kind of ‘corruption carrier’, complete with its own irremovable magic tattoo.
Erin, you were just possessed by a magical entity that was trapped in the middle of “6 Flavors of Death” and met two people in the middle of a blasted wasteland. One of whom scared the aforementioned magical entity, and the other one is, despite all outward appearances, not human. What part of this is not “unprecedented?”
“Welcome to The Storm, where you can choose from a whole 6 flavors of death! Would you like to be burned, drowned, transformed, shredded, crushed, or electrocuted?”
I get the feeling Alinua will tell him but I wonder if he could figure it out himself if given enough time.
Also, secret shifter ferin? Wonder what that is.
that one friend

I wish Journey to the West came out each Monday.
Wait… Kendal doesn’t know about the specifics of Alinua’s powerup, does he? I think both he and Erin are about to receive a revelation…
Wait, I need a refresher, did Alinua’s tattoo disappear after that first encounter with ‘the many eyed one’?
no its still there. it was glowing 2 updates ago
It’s on her right arm. We only see her left arm today.
Erin just keeps verbally decking people!! Like dang dude! Deep breaths
I think Erin and Alinua are just taking turns decking everyone. Kendal doesn’t, though, his cinnamon-roll-ness prevents it
I got the impression he was more thinking aloud and was so caught up in his theorizing that he forgot others could hear him.
Maybe she’s just more life mage-ier than you! You ever think of that, smart guy?!
He’d probably respond along the lines of “I’m the Elemental Magus. You don’t get much more Life Mage-y than me outside of divine intervention, and we’re talking the top-tier gods, not lowly city gods like Vash.”
Alinua: “Yeah, well, about that . . .”
Kendal: *Gasps in Spanish*
Erin, the only answer you’ll get will be a cryptic comment, you will wait like the rest of us.
Alinua is so going to tell them…can’t wait!
ah, yes, the nerd likes to ramble.
I think he’s gonna be my favourite.
Well that explains why he’s so cocky, if he’s a Life Mage that lived past that expiration date we heard about earlier.
Not every life mage has the Chimeric Plague. Most of them don’t. Alinua is the exception, not the rule
So Erin gets a symbol on his chest, (the symbol of the comic, so it’s probably important) just like the symbols for the six elements, and now the Seventh Element page is password protected? Hmmm…
The password is “spoilers”.
Their next party member better have a beard to stroke while contemplating.
Erin is cut off in the last panel. Which probably means that Alinua either snapped back at him….or something’s about to happen.
Or both.
“Both?”
“Both.”
“Both is good.”

I like that name for The Storm
“Welcome to The Storm, where you can choose from a whole 6 flavors of death! Would you like to be burned, drowned, transformed, shredded, crushed, or electrocuted?”
The password is “spoilers”.
This was supposed to be a reply to CrazyTheorist…
Maybe she’s just cooler than you? XD
“is there anything weird about you” he asks, staring into her holographic green eyes after Kendall was miraculously healed
man, Kendal really is out there, making friends and being close to all these life mages
Erin’s face in panel three is PRICELESS!!!
I get the feeling Alinua will tell him but I wonder if he could figure it out himself if given enough time.
Also, secret shifter ferin? Wonder what that is.
TL;DR: Narrator mcNerdman uses brain! It is not very effective! In other news, pink floof’s iTat is acting up.
alt text: anything weird about you? anything at all???
Erin is almost as good at first impressions as Falst!
Speculation time! What is up with her?
It’s not life magic, of that he is fairly sure
