Well she isn’t just a life mage remember, she’s a “chimeric carrier”, which was why she lived in exile at the start of the comic, and according to the lore page there’s only one of those at any given time
I get the sense the ‘She’ this figure is referring to is the green god-like entity with feminine appearance. The gold text voice was introduced way back in early panels and is I think of higher power in some way; it’s simply possessing our favorite overconfident mage here. It’s shocked because the green figure responded to its meddling faster than it expected.
What if that giant green creature she saw was the life spirit? And now she’s like some sort of vessel for it? That’s how maybe yellow eyes recognized her?
Thirded. And I think The Storm was the 6 primordials combining their life forces to imprison it, meaning that now with said Storm gone, it (or its life force in the Magus, at least) is freed.
OK, I don’t know if someone already posted something similar but I think that, on chapter 0-1-1, The Twins were trying to create a vessel for the dark dragon. As soon as they got an “working” one they gained self consciousness (Primordials’s work, maybe?) and it spread to all other humans, elves and ancients. How that would’ve led to the Storm I have no idea.
Even if I’m completely wrong, this is a great story Red!
Seems to me that Alinua is the closest thing possible to a ‘host’ for the primordial of Earth, being so large and well ‘primordial’, this being can place only the teeniest tiniest fraction of its (her?) essence into a host, and even then its risky. This dark entity (the one with the gold-on-black speech/thought bubbles) might be the primordial of the seventh element?
Plot twist: The reason Alinua always solves her problems with trees is because Scruffy the Floofy lord IS a tree! (And also incredibly a giant narcissist)
So, he’s possessed by the black dragon, who was imprisoned at the center of the magical storm, and the life Primordial that Alinua is in contact with was biggest contributor to his downfall of the Primordials, therefore he fears that Primordial and he probably thinks that Alinua is its incarnation or some kind of champion or something. If I’m all wrong I’m gonna look stupid, but I’m all right I’ll look awesome, and you’ll here my triumphant laughter from all the way wherever you live.
Hair flowing upwards into branches and leaves while her limbs touching the ground sprout roots spreading far and deep.
Along with looking very cool and pretty I’d say it’s a good indicator that Alinua is the host/avatar/sage/chosen one/etc for the life primordial.
Oooooh i have theories! Well, sorta. So, Ali seems to be a host to at least a little bit of the (god?) embodyment of the life element in a simalar but much less violent way to Mr Goggles over there who seems to be being possesed by anoter entity as old as time, probably another element (death? or void?) also in a kinda similar way as Vash and Floofy (though they’re like 57x less powerful) wonder where Polite Villlan fits into ths nonsense though?
wait, is the life god(?)… protecting her? so is the shadow person being possessed by a shadow god????
they don’t seem like Vash, they’re more like… embodiments of magic
does that make them something different than a god? or is Vash just a different type?
Apparently Alinua is so important a life mage that golden eyes over here recognizes her,
as a threat. I assume a prophecy of sorts is involved

Wow what is that beautiful creauture? Is that dude color blind?
Call me edgy but I really dig the black figure on golden eyes design over here. 10/10 would cosplay as.

Ah yes, to solve the eternal question of “who’d win, the avatar of the entity with the scary eyes vs the avatar of the entity the the many eyes”

(sorry, this reply was to a comment below but for some reason my phone messed up which one I was replying to x.x
I think the dark entity is a vessel for the dark dragon that fought the primordials (see the lore page.) Alinua is the vessel for the life primordial.
Agreed, I think the same
Has Dark Floof vacated the premises?
Did the black gunk leave the nerdy boys boy?

Sorry, this was going to be a reply to Fantasy Snakes’ comment
Yes you did red. Your house has burned down
Green Goddess over here imo might be some kind of life magic primordial/source/god Or whatever

That does fit well with the whole ‘chimeric plague’ thing

You’re made of blood and bone, and I’m made of TREES!!!

Damn! I left the oven on! Looks like disintegrating/burning current protagonists will have to wait!

I half wonder if VD and Life had something important (more important then him killing her) in the past…
THE SHIPPING HAS BEGUN
TL;DR: Vashn’t regrets his life decisions. Cthulhu likes floof mcNicetats, which dark floof recognizes and does not like.
Seriously, leaving the gas oven on is a bit scary when it’s not lit. It took me a while to muster the courage to light one again.
Especially when they don’t light right away.
damn, that darkness is super scared of whatever thing is inside Alinua…

It’s called “apology” of course, sorry about the grammatical error.
Forgive me @Ongoing- Tut-tut! Its OK poet!
