I’d argue that Vash took all the braincells when he vacated the premises, but let’s be real, Vash would’ve already tried to punch it.
In fairness to Vash, he would have punched it because he probably had a better idea of what he was looking at and has much better self-esteem.
He does need help, but from a cost/benefit analysis, the level of help Kendal is able to render compared to the amount of damage whoever that thing is can deal is slightly disproportionate toward the “We’re screwed” level.
