And this is why I’m reading it again. I’m beginning to understand why Alinua gets so mad at Kendal at the end of Arc 1. He’s *constantly* risking his life for pointless heroics, and it goes against every single one of Alinua’s hard-won survival instincts. It’s not just one or two deeds, she spends a good deal of the arc thinking he’s dead.
Why don’t they throw a fruit at him? Or a plant? Aim at the head, knock some incense to him.
So the person is the guy from earlier, who is trying to contain the heart of the storm and is failing/being corrupted by it right?
