Yeah, they are! I’m wondering if Vash could take all the individual sentinel robots and make them combine into a super sentinel robot. This may be because as a kid I thought all anime involved either giant robots or Speed Racer.

If the stone soldiers were puppets or extensions of vash and can be active without him present, then is it possible that they are active for the same reason our main man sword guy is around? We know Vash builds to last but it seems like the things he makes can do more that outlast being cut off from him.
Anyone else notice that the sentinels in the flashback on this page have blue eyes while the one in the last page had a golden eye? Wonder what that’s about…
The sentinels are sorta like kendal in that they’re basically supposed to be an empty body for vash to puppet, so when Vash is using them their eyes turn blue.
But he’s not here anymore, hence the gold 🙂
