Unsure if Falst is Tough guy or Lancer. Guess we’ll find out
I’m leaning toward lancer.
Kendal: Wants to learn about others so he might better understand/connect with them.
Falst: Doesn’t seem to realize others might have *different* desires than him nor does he especially care.
Kendal: Tends to be selfless.
Falst: Tends to be selfish.
Kendal: “Before we fight, let’s use reasoning!”
Falst: “I have claws for a reason!” *slash*
Towards the beginning of this chapter I saw a comment with a character analysis that convinced me that Falst would be the Lancer, as I’d originally put Erin in that slot.
Also, I’m pretty sure that paladin dude with wings we aaw a few chapters back will be the Tank.
I don’t think The Champion (as I call him) will be joining the team; he seems more like a noble antagonist to me, since he’s going to be actively gunning for Erin’s life. He has good intentions, but let’s be honest: none of us want Erin dead.
I’d argue that Kendal is the Heart (Remember who adopted Erin?) and Alinua is the Big Guy. But I definitely agree that Erin = Smart Guy and Falst = Lancer.

It’s a Christmas miracle.
From what I’ve heard, Falst is the Lancer, and Tess (metal lady, apparently) will join the party as the Big Guy.

This doesn’t change the fact that none of them got any sleep, like seriously, the sun is rising, they were doing strenuous activity all night, and they still have to ride east
*wraps them in blankets and gently forces them to sleep*

I’ve got one more comparison to make this chapter. One that’s closer to this story than the ones I made before. Falst’s plan to free himself from persecution and isolation by becoming human is one that he shares with Leliel Va’adam, one of the main protagonists of a story called Half Bloods. It’s a fantasy adventure story where Leliel, a half-demon, accompanies a half-fey named Vivian Tess on a journey to find a Djinn that will grant one wish. Both women want to use the wish to become human: Leliel for the reasons stated above and Vivian to break a curse that causes people to see her as the most beautiful woman they’ve ever seen. While Leliel is alone because she is seen as a monster, Vivian is alone because she’s not usually seen for who she really is. It’s a sweet, funny, and dramatic story about outcasts bonding with each other. All twenty-three chapters can be found at the link below.
Quick warning before you go: all chapters aside from the last one contain fart fetishism and a few contain scat fetishism. Though they are not the main focus, they are present. If you are able to look past them and enjoy the story, proceed. If not, turn back.

I had my doubts but it official now. I really see Falst and Alinua’s dynamic. I wonder if it will be a Toph and Katara situation or if the get along well in the beginning. I alos want to see Falst and Erin dynamic more
I got few presents and I’m very thankful them as I don’t get presents normally but Falst joining the crew is definitely the best present ever!

Well, they’re just picking up companions left and right, aren’t they? And so easily too! No one is ever questioning Kendal’s magical power of Friendship. Everyone always just agrees to come with on first try. That NEVER happens to me. 🙁
