Almost as interesting as it was confusing! Hope the good-guy beats the bad-guy cause genocide is bad.
On a more serious note, I’m genuinely curious to see where this goes. And what’s going on. And who these characters are. ect. Can’t wait to see more!
P.S. you should probably make it so that there’s no “forward” button on the most recent page, since that takes people to an error page, which will be confusing for binge readers.
TL;DR: Charming falls asleep in front of the mutilated mouth of Vash. The boulder remains unsettlingly quiet, perhaps refraining from eating the unconscious Charming as well because his hunger has already been satiated.
Could you imagine if you just walked out right then? And you just see this wounded guy frantically attacking a rock before passing out? I feel like that would be very awkward out of context.
Just started reading this finally! This first whole scene. EXCELLENT.
The first scene leaves questions and hooks us without a prolouge type thing. Which can work, but sometimes ya just wanna hit em with the “pow pow” which you did excellently
Vash is shown as powerful, but not so much so that being beaten by that stranger feels unbelievable. And they (the villain person) was also established as a threat without massive bouts of lasers, but in their own physical resistance rather than attack, just straight up stabbing a god and of course, destroying a city.
I also REALLY liked how the villain looked at the dagger when saying “let’s go inside” or smthn like that. Further solidifying that our sweet lad is stuck inside their to some degree. Show but don’t tell. Love it.

The monster logo has been etched into the stone

And then he died peacefully in his sleep. Roll credits.
he’s fine. passing out from a stab wound builds character!
You may wonder why I do this. Mobile users will understand.

I didn’t just pass out in front of rock bleeding. I’m fine.
Well, he tried his best
And made a sizable dent
But its not enough
Daaaang, that hole is big, actually
But before it lies Blondie, needs help urgently
good night sleep tight don’t let the stab wound bite
This stinks of introducing a kindly secondary character.
He’s taking a nap
There’s a lot of full-page panels at the beginning of this comic. Huh.
