I had a very long comment and I don’t want to write it again…
I’m going to hear Waterfall from U.T. ost to calm down (TBH you could hear the entire chapter with that music as background…)
I dont wanna sound like a grammar nazi but I dont think you’d mind? In the third panel, it says abucted, instead of abducted. Sorry if that sounds annoying
sooooo Kendal says that Asera is a “Fledgling god” does that mean the city of Vash was founded before Asera? This implies that there is kind of a hierarchy among the city gods. The older the city the more powerful the god? this line has peaked my interest an unnecessary level.
A fledging god is a god that hasn’t chosen a stable incarnation, when they incarnate they look different cause the people keep changing them, it’s usually found in recent gods but Asera is taking awhile to settle in, it can also be inferred that Asera (the city) is really old and was always the center of education on the continent, but the god took awhile to form and is a fairly recent development of the city, as in the chimeric plague flashback vash consults Aseran mages, showing the center of education thing, but also that there is no god there as a god going to another gods domain constitutes war, and sense there was no war, Asera was just a city. This was 200 years prior, and vash was established with a god and not asera, showing how their god must be recent, and thus still fledging
How does Kendal not get hair in his eyes while he is fighting. Either the man/avatar of war has blindsight or he might want to get a hair tie. He could get one that matches his eyes.
So I have personally deduced from this page: Vash is like the middle child God-person-speaking, and whatever Alinua is a vessel for is VERY young and has been desperately wanting a vessel and reincarnation through generations until finally a vessel strong and sensible enough came to fruition. Whatever is possessing Erin is The Mostest Eldest God and Quite Eeeeeevil.
Asura is not possessing Aluna if that’s what you meant, and if you meant the thing that the evil posessing Erin is scared of, no. No it is by no means young.
To play the devil’s advocate here, Erin knows that if his “possession problem” doesn’t get fixed soon, he could inadvertently kill literally everything on the planet, so getting himself exorcised is his top priority
Oh no. In regards to “what could possibly go wrong?” So many things. The Collector could have done something to Vash, The Collector could decide that one god’s soul wasn’t enough and go after Asera (wipping out the city and everyone who would help Erin), and/or the thing possessing Erin could decide it wants to launch a surprise attack on Aliuna to take care of its (seemingly) only problem.
Kendal’s glum now but at least Mr. Hubris is feeling better. Nice to have a neat, simple plan of action, whether it last longer than a chapter is another matter.
Generally interested in seeing what Aserea is like and how the academy would treat this trio, the city strikes me as fairly learned but I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility of them wanting to keep all of them locked up for the safety of all. Maybe they’ll need to head there if the Collector wants a second god to study.
TL;DR: the academy’s willing to fund all of floofy nerd’s Completely Safe TM activities, and are likely gonna be interested in getting Pantene god and Chimera mum. Floofy nerd still wants to evict Dark floof first.
Oh god Kendal in the second to laste frame 🙁 I want to give him a hug.
Aww, Kendal is very broody here … i’m he has every reason to, but still that… yikes 🙁 must hug the floofhead
I like the wording of “I get your kidnapped god back”. He wasn’t yours to begin with, Erin.
Ohh, so “Asera” IS a god after all!
…F-ing website deleting my stuff four times in a row I CURSE YOU!

Maybe it was red trying to keep the secret….

Poor Kendal….We are here for you buddy! Also, there really no way that super intricate and detailed plan couldn’t go wrong…
of course not, Erin the elemental magus is here, nothing could possibly go wrong, and he can fix whatever does
Kendall… don’t worry we are here for you!!! (so sad that boy)
Sorry!!! My first comment disappeared so I commented it a second time!

We are always hungry for More Worldbuilding. Always.
Jokes aside, the world building and lore of this world is just incredible. I’d happily read it all day long, no joke.
Ah sorry this was meant to be a reply to The Opposite, my bad!!!!! I am an idioté and forgot to do the thing that you need to go in order to reply.
Well, as a fellow worldbuilding and more nerd, your statement is true out of context as well.
*LORE, autocorrect
I love Erin so freaking much.

A hair tie that matches his eyes.
…
OH GOOD GOSH I LOVE IT
He… kind of has a hairtie. He ties the floof into a ponytail when out and about,

I like Erin ok, but I definitely don’t like that he’s basically manipulating Kendal to get what he wants D:

Oh kendal you angsty boi. There will be a time to lay waste to the meat puppets. Just not yet.

Yay for optimism!
alt text: what could possibly go wrong?
This whole story is like a giant DND campaign and I love it
He is sure he’s got what it takes to get through
So once he’s unpossessed he’ll see what he can do
I like how the two men in the party have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT flavors of overconfidence in their problem-solving abilities XD
